Westwood High School Project Graduation 2010 Volunteers are Needed!

 

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Families of WWHS Class of 2010,

 

The Project Graduation celebration will be held from 11:30pm on Saturday, May 29th to 5:30am Sunday, May 30th at Main Event.

 

Below is the list of Project Graduation volunteers needed to make the event safe and successful.  Now is your chance to step up! Please contact Andi Tasset (atasset@sbcglobal.net) or Vickie Blumhagen (vblum@austin.rr.com) ASAP if you are able to help.

As you can see, we need over 100 volunteers so please HELP SPREAD THE WORD!

 

Fundraising Committee: 4 volunteers are needed to sell cookbooks before and after the Senior Graduation meeting on Tuesday, May 11 in two shifts - 6-6:30pm (2 volunteers) and 7:15-7:45pm (2 volunteers).  Please contact Carrie Kubala (fundraising@whsprojectgrad.org) directly ASAP if you can help with this - and remember, you will earn an extra door prize ticket for your senior for each hour you volunteer!

 

Registration Committee: The registration committee already has their volunteers but there are many other opportunities to help! 

 

Decorations Committee: 22 total decorations volunteers needed in two shifts – 10pm-11:30PM (20 volunteers) and 11:30pm to 3:30am (2 volunteers).

 

Photography Committee: 10 total photography volunteers needed to take pictures for one shift 11:15pm to 2am.

Entertainment Committee: 25 Casino volunteers needed for one shift – from 10:45pm to 3:30am.  Training starts at 10:45pm and casino is open 11:30 to 3:30am.  Two volunteers needed per table, so sign up as a couple or with a friend and have fun!

Security Committee: 22 total security volunteers (otherwise known as chaperones) needed in two shifts – 11pm to 2:30am (10 volunteers needed) and 2am to 5:30am (12 volunteers needed).  David Schaefer and EZ Echavarria will be at Main Event all night providing security in the parking lot. There will also be a sheriff there with a breathalyzer.

 

11pm to 2:30am shift:

Food Committee: 3 total food volunteers needed in two shifts – 11:30pm-2am (2 volunteers needed) and 4am to 5:30am (1 volunteer needed). 

Volunteers also needed to bring the following foods for the volunteers in the hospitality room:

    • 3 Sandwich trays
    • 3 veggie trays
    • 2 Fruit Trays
    • 60 Water Bottles
    • Liters of Coke, Diet Coke
    • Sugar and Creamer for Coffee (we already have urn and coffee)
    • Napkins and Cups

Gifts Committee: 13 gift volunteers needed for one shift - 4 to 5:30am - to help move, display and distribute prizes. These volunteers will also be asked to help the Hypnotist set up.

 

General: 14 "floater" volunteers needed in two shifts to help wherever needed – 11pm to 2:30am (7 volunteers) and 2am to 5:30am (7 volunteers).
